Friend Accused of Stealing From Lake Park Resident’s Home While Recovering at Clinic

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A Lake Park resident has accused a “friend” of stealing from them while recovering at a Detroit Lakes clinic.

On Tuesday, June 8 the Detroit Lakes Police Department was called after a patient gave a key to a friend to pick up some personal items while recovering in a nearby clinic.

When the patient was discharged and returned home, they discovered items were missing from their residence and immediately suspected their “friend”.

The Detroit Lakes Police Department is investigating.
