DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge is launching their new project, Wild Inspired on Sunday.
The event, Sunday, June 13 will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the Tamarac Wildlife Refuge showcasing the Wild Inspired mobile app that allows visitors to the Refuge to engage in interactive ways with nature, other visitors and wildlife through images, audio and stories.
Visitors on Sunday will then take in the refuge’s inspirational beauty and create a poem or short narrative, compose music, or visual art work, and upload it to the digital map to share.
The Wild Inspired project is made possible through a Minnesota Innovation Grant by the Minnesota State Higher Education System Office.
