Detroit Lakes, MN – One person was hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 34 Saturday morning.
State troopers say that around 10:11 a.m., a box truck and a sedan were heading west on Highway 34 near Event 34 in Detroit Lakes when they collided.
The driver of the sedan, 87-year-old David Shirk of Rochert, MN, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Essentia Health St. Mary’s for treatment. The occupants of the box truck from Fargo were not hurt.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Becker County Sheriff’s Office and the Detroit Lakes Police Department.
