Marcus Johansson Leaving Wild for Swedish Elite League

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM)- Marcus Johansson is moving on from the Minnesota Wild.

The veteran left wing signed a contract in the Swedish Elite League over the weekend, ending a tenure in Minnesota that began at the 2023 trade deadline.

The 35-year-old was a steady contributor in his final season with the Wild, posting 15 goals and 34 assists for 49 points in 75 games.

Johansson spent parts of three seasons with Minnesota after arriving in the 2023 deadline deal.
