Lynx Roll Past Storm for Seventh Straight Win

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Lynx have won seven games in a row after a 88-68 rout of the Seattle Storm at Target Center on Saturday.

Minnesota shook off a slow start, trailing 24-16 after the first quarter before taking over the rest of the way. The Lynx outscored Seattle 29-19 in the second quarter and 26-10 in the third to blow the game open.

Natasha Howard led all scorers with 27 points on 12-of-16 shooting, adding five rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Olivia Miles chipped in 19 points to go with six rebounds and six assists. Courtney Williams and Kayla McBride each added 11.

The win pushes the Lynx to 9-2 on the season. They return home to host the Dallas Wings on Tuesday night.
