Detroit Lakes, MN – A Detroit Lakes man was hurt in a head-on collision on Highway 59 Tuesday afternoon.
State troopers say that an SUV from Audubon was heading south on Highway 59 at around 2:45 p.m. and a sedan was heading north when the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Highway 34.
The driver of the sedan, 38-year-old Justin Alan Evans of Detroit Lakes, was transported to Essentia Health St. Mary’s for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the SUV were not hurt.
The State Patrol was assisted by Detroit Lakes Police and Essentia Ambulance.
