Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Lynx have won five in a row after a 111-77 blowout of the Phoenix Mercury on Monday night at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix.
Minnesota controlled the game from the opening tip, leading by as many as 37 points and shooting nearly 64% from the field. Courtney Williams paced the Lynx with 30 points on 13-of-20 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range. Olivia Miles added 19 points and dished out nine assists.
The win pushed Minnesota to 7-2 on the season.
The Lynx return home to host the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday night.
