Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins begin a 10-game road trip Friday night with the opener of a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
First pitch is set for 6:10 p.m., with Connor Prielipp on the mound for Minnesota.
The Twins head east after taking two of three from the Houston Astros at Target Field earlier this week. Minnesota dropped Tuesday’s series opener 2-1 before bouncing back with a 4-1 win on Wednesday.
Minnesota sits third in the AL Central at 23-27.
After the weekend in Boston, the Twins continue the road trip with a four-game set in Chicago against the White Sox, followed by a series in Pittsburgh against the Pirates.
