Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves return home to Target Center tonight looking to seize control of their Western Conference Semifinal series against the San Antonio Spurs.

The best-of-seven matchup is tied at one game apiece heading into Friday’s contest, but Minnesota will be trying to wash away the taste of a lopsided Game Two loss in San Antonio. The Spurs blew the doors off the Wolves on Wednesday, winning 133-95 to even the series. San Antonio led by as many as 47 points and shot 50% from the floor, while Minnesota turned the ball over 22 times.

Anthony Edwards struggled in the Game Two blowout, finishing with just 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting. Spurs star Victor Wembanyama posted a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds, and rookie guard Stephon Castle led all scorers with 21 points off the bench.

The Wolves had taken Game One on the road by a score of 104-102, giving them home court advantage entering this stretch of three potential games at Target Center.

Tip-off is set for 8:30pm. Game Four is scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.
