Timberwolves Host Rockets in Key Western Conference Showdown Wednesday Night

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves return home to Target Center on Wednesday night, riding some momentum, looking to build on a strong road performance when they welcome the Houston Rockets for an 8:30 p.m. tip-off in a critical Western Conference matchup.

Minnesota is coming off an impressive 102-92 road victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday, a win that pushed the Wolves’ record to 44-28 on the season.

The Rockets enter Target Center at 43-28, just a half-game behind Minnesota in the standings, making this one of the more significant games on the Wolves’ remaining schedule. A win keeps Minnesota firmly in the third seed; a loss could hand Houston the edge in what could be a defining stretch run.

Oddsmakers currently give the Rockets a slight edge, listing them as narrow favorites with a 52.4% win probability heading into the contest.
