Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Perham High School Boys Basketball team has punched their ticket to the Minnesota State Tournament, and the Jacket faithful are ready to make the trip to Minneapolis to cheer them on.
Perham tips off against Goodhue on Tuesday, March 24th at 6:00 p.m. at Target Center — home of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The send-off begins Monday, with walk-throughs scheduled at 2:25 p.m. at HOTL, PWMS at 2:35 p.m., and PHS at 2:45 p.m. On Tuesday morning, the Jackets will depart in style — the team bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. from PHS with a firetruck and EMS escort out of town, following the same route used by the Girls Basketball team.
The Perham Backcourt Booster Club is working to put together a fan bus so students and community members can make the trip together. The coach bus would depart at 1:15 p.m. from the south parking lot at PHS, with tickets priced at $30 per person. Students under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or a high school-aged sibling.
To reserve a spot, contact the Activities Office by Monday, March 23rd at 4:00 p.m.:
- Email: Traci Haberman at thaberman@perham.k12.mn.us (include names of passengers, number of seats, and a contact number)
- Phone: 218-346-1615
- In person: Stop by the Activities Department
The Booster Club will confirm whether the bus is a go shortly after the deadline. Payment — cash or check made out to Perham Schools — will be collected once finalized. Game tickets must be purchased separately online.
