AUDUBON (KDLM) – The man who robbed the Ortons Cenex Convenience Store in May has turned himself in.
Alexander Butcher, 26, from Coon Rapids turned himself in at the Becker County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, June 4. He is accused of robbing the store just before 1 a.m. on May 25.
Butcher passed a note to one of clerks demanding cash and stating that he had a firearm. No firearm was brandished during the incident and the two clerks were unharmed. The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
