Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves needed no superstars to get the job done Wednesday night. Without Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid in the lineup, Minnesota still rolled to a dominant 147-111 victory over the Utah Jazz at Target Center, their second straight win.
The Wolves wasted little time taking control, building a lead that stretched as large as 38 points and never looking back. Minnesota’s depth shone throughout the night, with three players finishing with at least 21 points.
Ayo Dosunmu led the way with a game-high 23 points, while Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert each contributed 21 of their own. It was a complete team performance that demonstrated Minnesota’s depth even without two of their key rotation players.
The lopsided victory improved the Timberwolves to 43-27 on the season.
Up next for Minnesota is another home game, as the Portland Trail Blazers visit Target Center on Friday.
