The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will roll into Detroit Lakes on Tuesday, December 16th, stopping from 2:45 to 3:15 p.m. at the Holmes Street railroad crossing.

This year’s onboard concert will feature live holiday music from Lanco and Tiera Kennedy, bringing a lively rock-and-roll energy to the event.

The Holiday Train will continue on to Mahnomen, arriving at 4:20 p.m.

Community members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to support the Detroit Lakes Food Pantry. Canadian Pacific also contributes to the local food bank at every stop and encourages heart-healthy donations.

Since the program began in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected about 5.4 million pounds of food for food banks across the U.S. and Canada.
