Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves turned a tight contest into a comfortable victory with a dominant fourth-quarter performance, defeating the Brooklyn Nets 125-109 at Barclays Center on Monday night.

Holding a slim three-point advantage heading into the final period, the Timberwolves seized control by outscoring the Nets 34-21 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the 16-point win.

Donte DiVincenzo paced Minnesota’s offense with a game-high 25 points, while Jaden McDaniels provided strong support with 22 points. The balanced scoring attack proved too much for Brooklyn to handle down the stretch.

The victory improved Minnesota’s record to 4-3 on the young season as they continue to find their rhythm. The Timberwolves will look to build on this momentum when they visit Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
