Detroit Lakes, MN — The Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes has announced an exciting addition to this year’s 30th Annual Polar Fest Plunge — social media personality and comedian Taylor Calmus, better known as “Dude Dad.”
Calmus will not only be at the plunge on Saturday, February 21, 2026, but will also perform a comedy show that evening at the Historic Holmes Theatre.
Participants in the plunge can earn special incentives, including reserved seating and exclusive meet-and-greet passes for the comedy show, based on their fundraising efforts.
This year’s event promises to be a one-of-a-kind collaboration of community, comedy, and cold water, celebrating three decades of the beloved Polar Fest tradition — all in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes.
