Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Gophers will attempt to return to winning ways when they welcome the Purdue Boilermakers to Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday evening.
Minnesota is looking to rebound from a difficult road outing last weekend, when they fell 42-3 to top-ranked Ohio State in Columbus. The lopsided defeat snapped the Gophers’ momentum after opening Big Ten conference play with a victory.
Head coach P.J. Fleck’s squad currently sits at 3-2 overall and 1-1 in Big Ten action as they reach the midpoint of their conference schedule. The Gophers will be eager to protect home turf and improve their league record against a Purdue team also searching for consistency this season.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday, October 11th.
