Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota United are locking down one of their top defenders.
The club signed Anthony Markanich to a contract extension yesterday. The new deal keeps Markanich in the Twin Cities through the 2028 season, and it includes an option for 2029.
Markanich has six goals and one assist in 26 matches this season.
The Loons next match is on September 13th against San Diego.
