Lynx Dominate Wings 96-71 Behind Collier’s Hot Shooting, Clinch Playoff Top Seed

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Lynx put on an offensive clinic Monday night, defeating the Dallas Wings 96-71 in a dominant performance that showcased their championship credentials.

Napheesa Collier led the way with 25 points on an efficient 7-of-10 shooting, including a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range. Natisha Hiedeman contributed 20 points and recorded her first career double-double with 10 assists, while Courtney Williams added 15 points and nine assists in the balanced attack.

The Lynx (32-8) shot a blistering 55% from the field and were even better from beyond the arc, connecting on 14 of 24 three-point attempts (58%). The team’s ball movement was exceptional, recording 29 assists on 36 made field goals.

For the Wings (9-33), Minnesota native Paige Bueckers led the scoring with 17 points despite the lopsided result.

The victory further solidifies Minnesota’s position as the top seed heading into the playoffs, having already clinched the No. 1 overall spot. The Lynx continue to look like the team to beat as they prepare for their postseason run.

The Lynx will head to Las Vegas to take on the Aces in their next game, set for Thursday at 9:00 p.m.
