PERHAM (KDLM) – A final Farmers to Families Food Box distribution will take place in Perham, Thursday.
The event will begin at 3pm at the South entrance of the east Ottertail County Fairgrounds. Vehicles can begin lining up at 2:30 pm.
Organizers plan to give away hundreds of boxes of food provided by the USDA Farmers to Families program and distributed by volunteers. Those attending are encouraged to pick up extra boxes for friends or family who may need it.
More than 132 million Farmers to Families Food Boxes have been given away throughout the U.S. since May of 2020.
