St. Paul, MN (KFGO/KVRR) – Minnesota Senator Steve Drazkowski of Mazeppa has filed a conflict of interest complaint against fellow Senator Nicole Mitchell of Woodbury.
The Republican says Mitchell voted on a matter that directly impacted her income and continued employment by voting against her own expulsion.
Drazkowski filed his complaint with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board, and is asking them to determine if her vote was a conflict of interest under Minnesota law.
Mitchell is set to stand trial in June for breaking into her stepmother’s home in Detroit Lakes a year ago.
