Pelican Rapids Man Arrested After Deputies Chase Him Near Rothsay

A Pelican Rapids man was arrested Saturday evening after leading Otter Tail County deputies on a pursuit through fields and roads northeast of Rothsay.
According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department, 33-year-old Levi Barry was wanted on multiple arrest warrants when deputies attempted to take him into custody.
Instead, Barry fled in a vehicle, leading law enforcement on a pursuit across multiple rural roads and fields. Deputies eventually stopped and arrested him without further incident.
The Sheriff’s Department confirmed that no one was injured during the chase.
Barry is currently in custody as authorities process charges related to the pursuit in addition to his existing warrants.
