Fargo Man Pleads Guilty to Killing Girlfriend, Hiding Body in Closet

A Fargo man has pleaded guilty to murdering his girlfriend and hiding her body inside a closet.
Randall Duffy was charged in 2024 for the killing of 59-year-old Jody Campbell. On June 8, Duffy called police to his apartment and led them to Campbell’s body. He reportedly told officers he “choked her out too long” after they fought over a stolen meth pipe.
Authorities arrested Duffy at the scene, and he later confessed to the crime. His sentencing has not yet been scheduled.
