Law enforcement agencies across Becker County are gearing up for the Annual Battle of the Badges, a month-long initiative to support local schools. From February 1st to February 28th, officers will collect cash and gift cards to benefit school district care closets, which provide essential supplies for students in need.
Participating Schools
Funds raised will support schools in:
• Audubon
• Detroit Lakes
• Frazee
• Lake Park
• Ogema
• Pine Point
Drop-Off Locations
Community members can contribute cash or gift cards at the following locations:
• Audubon City Hall
• Becker County Sheriff’s Office
• Becker County Jail
• Detroit Lakes Police Department
• Frazee City Office
• Lake Park City Hall
All donations will be given to school counselors and social workers, who will use them to purchase needed items for students.
Trophy for the Winning Team
The law enforcement agency that collects the most donations will earn the Battle Winner Traveling Trophy, awarded on March 3rd.
