Plans Underway for Annual Event for Pets in Detroit Lakes

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – A Lakes Area nonprofit wants to create an annual event in Detroit Lakes for pets!

Propel DL, who organize Polar Fest each winter is in the beginning stages of creating the Lakes Pet Fest. The annual event would be held in September and feature an array of activities focused on pets including a pet adoption event, pet contests and races, vendor exhibit and possibly even a family and pet friendly concert.

The Propel DL Board of Directors are encouraging pet lovers and owners to submit ideas for activities and events on their facebook page.
