Authorities responded to multiple crashes on area highways over the weekend, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries for four individuals.
On Saturday morning, Shelby Isabell Krusemark, 21, of Hoffman, lost control of her Dodge Dakota while traveling eastbound on Highway 27 in Grant County. The vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a field approach. Hoffman Fire and First Responders assisted at the scene, and Krusemark was transported to Alomere Hospital for treatment.
Later on Sunday afternoon, a GMC Yukon left Highway 55 near Lawrence Township, entering a field after exiting the right ditch. Two individuals from Fergus Falls and Alexandria were involved. Their names and conditions are pending release.
Additionally, Sunday evening saw a crash on Interstate 94 near Evansville Township in Douglas County. Dominic Leo St. Marie, 18, of Albany, and Aaron Vega-Manzo, 23, of Alexandria, were both injured when their vehicles collided on icy roads. Both were taken to Alomere Hospital for evaluation.
