Name Released in Duck Hunting Fatality on North Turtle Lake

The tragic death of 76-year-old David Josephson from St. Paul was confirmed following a duck hunting accident on North Turtle Lake in Otter Tail County. Hunters found his overturned boat on Friday afternoon, and authorities later discovered his body. Josephson, who was not wearing a life jacket, had been staying in a nearby cabin for hunting and fishing. His body has been sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
