Fire crews from both Moorhead and Dilworth responded to an apartment fire early Tuesday morning in the 1600 block of 3rd Avenue NW in Dilworth. The fire was reported just before 1:30 a.m. and was located near a window in one of the apartments. One window broke due to the intense heat, but thanks to the building’s sprinkler system, the fire was quickly contained to one area and did not spread further.
The total extent of the damage remains unclear, and the Dilworth Police have taken over the investigation, focusing on locating the resident of the affected apartment.
