A scenic fall motorcycle ride took a tragic turn Sunday afternoon just outside of Fergus Falls. At approximately 3:24 p.m., 47-year-old Justin Beske of Fergus Falls was riding his 2012 Harley Davidson on County Highway 1 when he collided with a 2005 Buick Lacrosse driven by a 76-year-old from Ottertail. The Buick had slowed down for another vehicle making a left turn when Beske rear-ended it.
Authorities reported that Beske was not wearing a helmet and suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. He was first transported by ambulance to Lake Region Healthcare and then airlifted by Life Link to a hospital in Fargo. No updates on his condition have been released at this time.
