Todd Anthony Belland Jr., 34, of Fargo, has been sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony domestic assault. On March 26, Becker County deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a location on Old Pit Road, where Belland was arrested after smashing the windows of a vehicle with a golf club while his girlfriend was inside. Belland was sentenced to 18 months in prison, and stayed for five years, with 69 days of jail time served. He was placed on supervised probation and fined $500. A probation violation hearing is set for November 25.
