Lake Park will buzz with fall festivities during the **Lake Park Pumpkin Fest**. Events kick off with a craft and vendor show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake Park-Audubon High School Gymnasium. The fun continues with a Pumpkin Brunch Bake-Off from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Lake Park Fire Hall, while Main Street hosts a car show from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There’s also a 5k trail walk/fun run and a one-mile youth run, both starting at 9 a.m., and the day culminates in a festive parade at 3:30 p.m. (lineup starts at 3 p.m.). In Detroit Lakes, the **Becker County Museum** will unveil its new traveling exhibit, **”American Adventure,”** at 10 a.m. This interactive history exhibit challenges visitors to explore the survival conditions of Jamestown’s early settlers in 1607. The exhibit will be at the museum through the end of the 2024-25 school year. Admission is $20 for adults, and $10 for kids, with discounts for members and groups. Also in Detroit Lakes, **Early Birds and Night Owls Child Care** is hosting a **Kids Carnival Fundraiser** from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. The event will feature games, raffles, craft vendors, and more. All proceeds will help fund the expansion of a second location for the childcare provider.
