At around 7:40 Thursday morning (August 15th), the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident on County Highway 9 by Pelican Lake.
According to officials, the vehicle was heading south on Highway 9 when it drifted onto the east side of the road and crashed into a driveway approach.
The 46-year-old man from Audobon was transported to Essentia Health for treatment of injuries of an unknown extent.
Reportedly, deputies discovered 2 micro-baggies of methamphetamine in a bush near where the man had been walking after the crash, but no charges have been filed.
