Get ready for a fun-filled day at the 9th Annual JJ’s Hog Roast for Hospice on Saturday, in Pelican Rapids. This event promises something for everyone, including a car show, a delicious hog roast dinner starting at 11 AM, a silent auction, kids’ activities, live music, and exciting ATV/UTV mud drag races.
This year’s event is sponsored by local internet sensation CboysTV, and a special guest from the group is expected to make an appearance. All activities are supported through free-will donations, with all proceeds going to benefit Hospice of the Red River Valley.
JJ’s Hog Roast for Hospice was created in memory of Jeffrey “JJ” Bruns, Jr., whose life tragically ended in 2015. Since its inception, the event has raised over $76,000 to support hospice care for patients and families.
