A Moorhead man has pleaded guilty to his involvement in a significant methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. Jamie White, 46, was part of a network that planned to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine between April 2023 and February 2024. The case took a turn on October 26, 2023, when law enforcement executed a search warrant at White’s residence after receiving a report of a woman allegedly being held in his basement. During the search, officers discovered over 400 grams of fentanyl powder mixed with xylazine, a veterinary tranquilizer. Messages on White’s phone confirmed his intent to distribute the dangerous mix.
Despite being arrested and released on bond last December, White continued his illegal activities. On February 25, 2024, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service intercepted a package containing meth that was destined for a Fargo-Moorhead address. A controlled delivery led to the arrest of White and his co-conspirators, along with the seizure of an additional 125 grams of meth and various drug distribution materials.
White’s sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.
