The Becker County Museum has a fantastic lineup of events this fall, perfect for all ages! Starting with the “American Adventure 1607, Can You Survive?” a traveling exhibit from September 28th through May 24th, 2025. Open Tuesdays through Saturdays, this interactive display lets you step back in time to 1607 and see if you have what it takes to survive. It’s a great way for both adults and kids to immerse themselves in history.

For those with a passion for science and creativity, the STEAM Club offers an after-school program every Tuesday in October, November, and December. This 12-week program focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, providing fun and educational activities for kids. The program costs $225 for the full 12 weeks, with monthly billing options available, making it a flexible and enriching experience.

There’s a big twist for the 5th Annual Haunted House this year! It’s moving to a new location at Detroit Mountain, promising even more thrills and chills. Mark your calendars for October 18th and 19th, as well as October 25th and 26th, for a spine-tingling experience. This new partnership promises to bring the scariest spooks yet!

If your family enjoys a mix of crafts, games, and costumes, the Halloween Hoopla at the Museum is the event for you. On October 26th from 10 AM to noon, bring the whole family for some spooky fun that’s more treat than trick.

Becky Mitchell shared with the Lakes Area Radio News Center that these events are designed to cater to everyone in the community, whether you’re a local or just visiting. The museum also offers a variety of other services, including local history exhibits, a research library, a Children’s Science Center, birthday party hosting, event spaces, and various community events and classes.

So, whether you’re looking to dive into history, engage in some hands-on learning, or simply have some Halloween fun, the Becker County Museum has something for everyone this fall. Don’t miss out on these exciting events!
