Tonight, we took a moment to recognize Deputy Winter’s continued hard work in keeping our roads and highways safe. Alongside his new canine partner, Rex, Deputy Winter patrols with dedication and vigilance.
During one of his shifts, Becky Putzke, the TZD Law Enforcement Liaison, presented Deputy Winter with another personalized hockey stick for achieving a Hat Trick. A Hat Trick occurs when a Deputy makes three DUI arrests in one shift, a significant accomplishment that underscores his commitment to public safety.
In addition, both Deputy Winter and Rex were honored with a MADD Hero Award for championing Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s (MADD) mission, programming, and vision. Their DUI enforcement efforts exemplify our community’s values and highlight their dedication to keeping our roads safe.
