The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites wildlife enthusiasts and outdoor skill seekers to join their summer Minnesota Outdoor Skills and Stewardship Series. These free webinars offer insights into wildlife conservation and management across the state. Registration is required and can be completed on the [DNR website](https://mndnr.gov/discover).

 

**Loon Restoration – July 3**

**Presenter**: Jayden Jech, loon specialist and lead for the Minnesota Loon Restoration Project

**Focus**: Conservation efforts for the common loon, community science initiatives, and tips on how to “Be Loon Aware” on Minnesota lakes.

 

**Southern Minnesota Wildlife – July 10**

**Presenters**: DNR wildlife managers

**Focus**: Discussions and Q&A about wildlife and habitat projects in southern Minnesota, covering prairies, wetlands, river valleys, and farm country.

The webinars are part of a year-round series designed to educate the public on various aspects of wildlife and habitat management. Recordings of past webinars are also available for those who cannot attend live sessions.
