TV3’s Erika Gilsdorph is excited about the community response to her series about Aquatic Invasive Special now being broadcast for everyone to see.
Counties across Minnesota have teamed up with Minnesota Lakes and Rivers Advocates to launch the “How Well Do You Know Minnesota?” video series. This series, running from May 1st to September 30th, features monthly videos with MN fun facts and crucial information about aquatic invasive species (AIS).
Funded by counties including Otter Tail, Aitkin, Cass, and many others, this initiative emphasizes the importance of cleaning, draining, and drying boats and equipment to prevent the spread of AIS. Jeff Forester, Executive Director of Minnesota Lakes and Rivers Advocates, stresses that proper education is key to protecting our waterways.
