With summer here, the Becker County Extension Office is hosting Plant, Pest, and Gardening Clinics every Wednesday from May to September, 9 a.m. to 12 noon. These clinics are free and open to the public.
Master Gardeners, trained through the University of Minnesota and NDSU, volunteer their time to help with community gardening issues. They can answer questions about trees, shrubs, home gardens, and lawns.
To get the best help, bring:
– A sample of the diseased plant part in a plastic bag
– Whole weed plants with roots in a plastic bag
– Insects in a plastic or glass jar
– Grass samples with soil in a box
