Congratulations to the first-ever recipients of the MN Seal of Biliteracy in Detroit Lakes and surrounding areas! This prestigious state recognition honors students who have achieved proficiency in two or more languages. These students not only earn high school elective credits but also college credits at in-state colleges (excluding Minnesota State University) based on their scores. Special shoutouts to our honorees: Anika Lotvola, who received the Platinum award; Mariia Kazanovska, who earned the Gold award; and Marvin Caballero, recognized for World Language. This achievement marks a significant milestone for our students and district. Let’s continue to grow this State and National award!
