Becker County Press Release- Becker County is partnering with Minnesota Housing to offer affordable mortgages through the Start Up loan program. This program provides down payment and closing cost assistance for eligible properties in Becker County through 2024. First-time homebuyers can access the program via local Minnesota Housing participating lenders. To find a lender, visit the Minnesota Housing website at www.mnhousing.gov and search “Find a Lender.” The Start Up program, also known as MCPP, offers fixed interest rates and loans up to $18,000 for down payment and closing costs.
