
LONG PRAIRE, Minn – Two individuals sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Todd County over the weekend, according to officials. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the incident occurred on Sunday evening along Highway 71 near Long Prairie. The driver, identified as Walter Guerrero, 39, of Hoffman, was traveling southbound on Highway 71 when his vehicle veered off the road and into the ditch. Guerrero was transported to CentraCare Hospital in Long Prairie with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger also suffered non-life-threatening injuries but did not require hospitalization. A third occupant of the vehicle was unharmed in the crash. Authorities suspect that alcohol may have played a role in the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
