A mysterious 911 call with no response led the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office to a property north of Underwood on Wednesday morning. The property owner, unaware of anyone being at the house, prompted deputies to investigate further. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 18-year-old Damarius Blount on the property. Blount was subsequently arrested and is facing charges of 3rd Degree Burglary and Possession of a Firearm by a Previously Convicted Felon, both felony charges. The Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating whether the firearm found in Blount’s possession was stolen or obtained through other means. The incident highlights the importance of vigilance and quick response by law enforcement to suspicious activities.
