A suspicious 911 call led the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office to a property north of Underwood, where they found 18-year-old Damarius Blount. The call, received around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, was traced to the property, prompting officials to investigate further. The property owner informed deputies that there should not have been anyone at the house. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Blount at the residence. He was subsequently arrested and is now facing charges of 3rd Degree Burglary and Possession of a Firearm by a Previously Convicted Felon, both felony charges. Authorities are currently investigating whether Blount stole the firearm or obtained it through other means.
