MOORHEAD, Minn. – Residents in the Moorhead area are advised that the Red River Valley SWAT team will be conducting a training session this evening. The training will take place on Thursday, April 4, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the vicinity of 11th Street and Main Avenue. During the training, residents may observe several squad cars with their lights activated. SWAT team members will also be visible, carrying firearms, and there may be instances of yelling or loud noises. However, it is important to note that no live rounds will be used during the exercise. Please be aware that this training event is not open to the general public.
