
A Fargo resident has been apprehended by authorities on charges of terrorizing following a disturbing incident atop a parking ramp. According to Fargo Police, the event unfolded around 9:35 p.m. on Monday when a concerned citizen dialed 911 to report a man brandishing a rifle on the rooftop of a parking facility situated in the 400 block of Broadway N.
Responding officers swiftly established a perimeter around the parking ramp and located the individual in question, who was found in possession of a BB handgun and a BB rifle. These firearms, upon closer inspection, were identified as replicas, intentionally crafted to closely resemble genuine firearms. The suspect, identified as Tyson Oka, aged 23, was subsequently taken into custody for the offense of terrorizing and was later booked into the Cass County Jail.
A thorough search of the parking ramp was conducted by officers, revealing no additional suspects or imminent threats. While the investigation remains active, law enforcement officials have indicated that, at present, there appears to be no ongoing danger to the general public.
