The State Department of Agriculture is confirming emerald ash borer (E-A-B) for the first time in Renville and Pine counties

St. Paul, MN- The State Department of Agriculture is confirming emerald ash borer (E-A-B) for the first time in Renville and Pine counties. E-A-B has now been detected in 50 counties in Minnesota. Infestations were found in the town of Danube in Renville County and Rock Creek in southern Pine County. Minnesota ag officials enacted an emergency quarantine limiting the movement of firewood and ash materials in the two counties.
