(Burnsville, MN) — Authorities in the south metro are investigating a shooting incident that left three first responders dead in Burnsville. The Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association says two officers with the Burnsville Police Department and one firefighter were shot and killed early Sunday morning while responding to a domestic abuse call for assistance. Other officers were reportedly wounded. Very little information has been shared by law enforcement. A news release from Governor Tim Walz says, “We must never take for granted the bravery and sacrifices our first responders make each and every day…the State of Minnesota stands ready to support in any way we can
