Woman arrested on suspicion of threatening college professors in Fergus Falls

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (Forum)— A woman has been arrested on suspicion of threatening college professors in Fergus Falls.

Andreya Savanna Lockett, 21, of Fergus Falls, was booked Thursday, Jan. 18, into the Otter Tail County Jail on pending charges of making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

College President Carrie Brimhall confirmed the incident- M State sent a message to students letting them know that a threat was made and that the suspect was taken into custody, she said. The threat was over by the time the school found out about it from law enforcement, so there was no need for M State to lock down or evacuate the campus, Brimhall said.

Brimhall said she didn’t have any information about the specifics of the threat. the threat was made toward professors.

A counselor has been made available for students who were impacted by the incident, she said.
