Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – The Belgrade/Brooten Police Department have released the name of the man whose body was found in an alley on Thanksgiving.
The body of 58-year-old Brian William Brockopp of Brooten was found last Thursday afternoon just east of Western Avenue South in Brooten.
The body was taken to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy, and police say there are no ongoing public safety concerns.
The preliminary autopsy results did not disclose anything suspicious.
